This page describes how buyxwithy.com is built and how listings are ordered — as the code actually does it, not as we would like it to. If you find a difference between this page and the site, tell us and we will fix one or the other.

How platforms are ordered

Nowhere on BXWY is a position for sale, and nowhere is the order a ranking.

• Platform directory (/platforms): alphabetical by platform name.
• Product pages ("Where to buy X"): every platform linked to that product, alphabetical by name. The comparison table opens with the first three; you choose which ones to compare.
• Reseller boxes in articles ("Buy X with Y"): platforms linked to the product that also accept the payment method the article is about, alphabetical by name.

Trustpilot scores, community votes and badges are shown next to platforms, but they do not change the order. There are no sponsored positions.

How a platform gets listed

Platforms come from a research backlog, not from applications or payments. For each one, our research agent reads the platform's own website (about page, help centre, checkout), its Trustpilot profile, company registries and community discussion, and fills in:

• what it sells, where it is based, and which countries and currencies it serves;
• the payment methods it accepts, matched against the payment methods we cover;
• KYC signals: whether email, phone, ID, address or income verification is required, optional, conditional or not required;
• its Trustpilot score and review count, copied from Trustpilot at research time;
• a "legit" verdict. The green verdict box appears only when the evidence is clearly positive; on thin or mixed evidence, the verdict says so.

A field we cannot verify is left empty rather than guessed. Every platform page shows the date it was last verified. Which products a platform sells is researched separately and stored as platform–product links; those links are what drive the product pages and reseller boxes.

Community badges

A platform can hold one badge: Low Price, Easy to Use, Great Customer Support, Good Reputation, Fast Service or Best Security. Badges are computed only from visitor feedback on the platform page: after marking a platform as helpful, the visitor picks the reason. Once a platform has at least 5 such votes, the most-chosen reason becomes its badge, and the vote count and share are stored with it. Below 5 votes there is no badge. Badges are recalculated from the current votes; nobody assigns them by hand and they cannot be bought.

In August 2026 we found and quarantined 311 demo rows from October 2025 that had been seeded into the feedback table during development. Badges and survey figures are computed from real responses only; the quarantined rows are excluded from every aggregate.

Survey figures

Platform pages show what earlier buyers told us: whether they would go back, why they chose the platform, and how they found it. A figure is shown only once a question has at least 5 answers; below that, the section stays hidden. Every number in a page's structured data is also visible on the page itself.

Content and AI

Articles, product pages, platform profiles and payment-method pages are written and published by our research agents from web research, with no human editorial review before they go live. Under Article 50 of the EU AI Act we label these pages as AI-generated rather than claim a review that does not happen. The "AI-generated" notice on a page means exactly that. Where a page carries a named human reviewer, that person read and signed it.

Our agents are instructed to attribute fees and limits to their source, to leave a field empty rather than invent a number, and to say plainly when something could not be verified. They still make mistakes. If a page is wrong, contact us and we will correct it.

Money

BXWY currently earns nothing: no affiliate links, no paid listings, no advertising. Links to platforms are plain links. If that ever changes, our affiliate disclosure is updated first, and one rule stands regardless: nothing paid ever changes how a platform is ordered, described, verified or badged, and anything paid is labelled where it appears.

This page is updated whenever the code it describes changes.
