What is FLOA?
FLOA is a French bank founded in 2001 as Banque Casino, renamed FLOA in 2020 and a 100% subsidiary of BNP Paribas since 2022. Based in Bordeaux, it serves more than 4 million customers and was historically the in-house payment provider of Cdiscount. Among French instalment providers it has the largest travel roster: MisterFly, Cdiscount Voyages, Leclerc Voyages, Havas Voyages, Selectour, Veepee Voyages and campsite groups such as Siblu and Maeva.
Which FLOA payment options are there?
- 3x / 4x — first share by card at checkout, the rest charged at 30/60 days (3x) or 30/60/90 days (4x). Baskets from €90 to €6,000.
- Deferred payment — 100% charged 30 days after the order, or "3x différé" starting at day 30 with a €6 upfront charge.
- 10x to 48x — regulated credit from €200 to €75,000; ID required, card must be valid at least 6 months past the order.
Fees are set per merchant and often absorbed ("sans frais"). When you pay them, they are spread equally across instalments and shown in the payment schedule before you sign. Early repayment is not possible on 3x/4x — only on 10x and longer plans.
